Riley Curry: Postgame MVP

Golden State Warriors Point Guard, Steph Curry may have led his team to a Game 1 victory in the Western Conference Finals last night, but it was someone else from the Curry family who really stole the show.

After the Warriors 110-106 win over the Houston Rockets at Oracle Arena, Curry made his way to his post-game press conference, but not without a special guest. His two year old daughter, Riley sat on his lap, waved to reporters, and told Steph he was too "wowed" (loud). She even climbed under the table and hid which turned into a great photo-op for the members of the media.

Riley's postgame entertainment went viral overnight and has been a huge topic in the sports world today among fans. Although, some reporters found the situation to be unprofessional claiming the "antics" were not helping them to meet their deadlines. As a future sports journalist, I find this to be a bit ridiculous. Sometimes, I think people forget this is a game and these players are real people, with real families. Riley lightened up the mood in a crucial game setting, and gave all sports reporters something to write about.

Ugh, Sports Reporters these days, am I right?
